Joomla Update Issue was created by aaroninbna
On a fresh domain install, I successfully installed Responsive, but the issue began when I attempted to update from 3.0.1 to 3.2.4
The site (both front end and back) went completely blank with no errors.
Steps taken...
1] Deleted everything and loaded 3.3 directly from a fresh download from Joomla. Then attempted to load Responsive (not Hot version), but I didn't want to load all the details back into the backend. I deleted everything once again.
2] I extracted and loaded Hot Responsive successfully, but didn't do anything till I performed a 3.0 to 3.2 & 3.2 to 3.3 updates. Everything went without any problems.
Except.... The Responsive template and all of it's extensions were overwritten by the update.
Any recommendations?
Thank you in advance.

Joomla update does not modify template files or other extension files (except ones from joomla core).
"The Responsive template and all of it's extensions were overwritten by the update" - i think that is not a case , more like there is some conflict in old non compatible code. You could try to replace template files with ones from latest template version. You could skip css files you did customize.

The latest version I have for Responsive is 3.0.1. Has it been updated since then?
