Top menu styling is lost when upgrading Joomla was created by Danimeeka
After installing the hot_wedding30_hotstart.zip file, I noticed one extension would not install unless the version of Joomla was updated from 3.0.1, which comes packaged in the hotstart file.
I checked the Joomla Update Manager and got this error: Fatal error: Call to a member function get() on a non-object in /home/harpsint/public_html/administrator/templates/isis/error.php on line 114. I gather this is a known bug in Joomla 3.0.1.
I installed Admin Tools and used it to upgrade Joomla to 3.0.4, but then saw the top menu lost all its CSS styling.
The site is 184.154.224.13/~harpsint/ , but I have reverted to Joomla 3.0.1 for now so the top menu looks fine. Please see attached images. What should I do? I really do need to be able to upgrade Joomla ..
Thanks!

Hmm, no the menu class suffix is "top". However if I change it to "nav" I see exactly the same problem as I get when I upgrade to 3.0.4, so I'll try the upgrade and check to see if the menu class suffix has been reset to "nav".
I'll let you know how it goes!

OK, the menu class suffix is still "top" when the site has been upgraded to Joomla 3.0.4. The rendering just behaves as if it is set to "nav".
I have sent a 'don't panic' message to my client and left the site in its messy 3.0.4 state for you to have a look at. I'll click 'report to moderator' and send my login details there so you can have a look inside.
Thankyou very much.

Sorry, Ivan, I don't quite understand. Are you saying my menu class suffix was "nav"? And you changed it to "top"? I could swear it was "top" as per my image in my last post! I see the website is working now, so a big thankyou to you. How did you do it?
