Layered Photoshop Files

I am not sure about your answer, do you mean that if I have Photoshop layer support I can edit an individual layer on the back-end?

Suggestion: But why can't I just edit an individual layer offline in Photoshop, then "flatten" all the layers, upload the "flattened" image and achieve the same result?, But if so, why the big jump in subscription charges to the template club?

I guess there is more to this than my Suggestion, but I cannot understand right now...

I dough you could easily do any such change like that. PSD is usable if you know design and joomla.

That is my problem/question, I do not know what is special about using Photoshop together with your templates layer edit option

If you think of layout designer in sparky based templates that is not same . That layout designer enables you to use GUI to define blocks for your site or easily change.
