Store Front for your templates?

Hello I am interested in your 'software' template but how hard would it be to add a store like application to it while keeping the overall theme of your template? Or is that the point of using a template on top of joomla? :silly:

also with the top banner I can place anything inside of it correct? Like what if i wanted to post links to videos, actually just have a short video within one of the sections of the top bar? is that possible? Thank you for your assistance. -Emde

Hello Emde,

The best free store (e-commerce) component for Joomla is Virtue Mart. So, after you install our template, you should install Virtue Mart. Maybe you wouldn't like VM's default settings or layout, but it's very flexible and you can set VM's configuration to your needs easily. You can consider iJoomla's Digistore as well (see Partners links).

Please check module positions list . You can install any module on any position.

Hi Milos, thank you for your quick reply, so if I install virtue mart it will change the way my template will look? or no? do you know if any of your customers have done this? if so maybe a link so I can check it out? sorry for being such a noob.

I actually like the shopping cart on this store. what do you use? I am only going to be selling a few premium products.

*Edit, also, is it possible for me to place videos inside the carousel or maybe some quick flash animation?

Our store uses Virtue Mart. None of the components can change overall template look. The only part that's changed is the main content area. For example, look this forum, content area is from the tabs on (recent discussions...) to the footer (powered by Kunena). The rest is template, and component can't change it.

Carousel module can show static pictures only. If you have animations as animated GIFs, that can be used as well.

Hey just wanted to thank you for your help! After some more research I've decided to go with your template because your company is very helpful and I like the community. As to most people its just a template. However for me its a new thing I must learn to adequately tackle an online presence. I truly believe your site & services will help me obtain these goals!
