Changing domains was created by Moos
Hello, I have recently bought the Hot Cars templat which I want to use to replace my existing site. As this is a business site I do not want to mess around in the current domain until I have everything working.
I know that with the 'standard purchase' I am allowed to use the template on a single domain only. But would it be allowed and possible to install the template on a different domain first (my private domain, that nobody ever looks at) and move it to the final designated domain later (when everything works fine)?
I am trying to limit my risks here, as I recently purchased a company and I am not happy with the website, nor with the provider that we currently use. I therefore need to change many things. We can not afford however to have the website not available for more than a day or two.
Being a novice Joomla user (but wiling to learn) I prefer to have a place and the time to play around with the template first, before putting it 'live'.
Cheers,
Moos

Hello,
Yes you can use it on temporary testing domains. You can also test in your current domain if you install Joomla in a sub-folder or testing sub-domain.
