Icon of header menu

In the demo and also in the quickstart you get no icon of the headermenu when make the screen so small as on the mobile version. Thats perfect. But on my own site I have no quick start installed but only the template. Now I get a icon of the headermenu. I have used the same settings as the quick start. When I click on the headermenu icon its dissapeares to the right corner and you cannot click on it. How do fix this problem?
