The Hot Slicebox display the images using the full width of the container. So, regardless of the size of the images, the image width will be as the width of the container where the module is published. So, if you want bigger images in the Slicebox, you should make the Slicebox container bigger. This can be done by editing CSS of the template.
For the Bakery template, perhaps the easiest way to do this is to publish the Hot Slicebox module in the USER1 module position because it uses the full-screen width.
