How to stop menu-specific module from appearing when a "Read More" is clicked? was created by stleone
In the Bakery, template, I have a module called "PQ Thin Stone Display" that appears properly above content when the menu item category blog "Thin Stone" is clicked. That is OK. On this page there are several articles within this category that properly appear. Each of these articles has a "read more" link. When any of the "read more" links are clicked, and the full article appears, the "PQ Thin Stone Display" module appears again above content, and I want to prevent this from happening. It just gets in the way when users click Read More within one of the articles. The "PQ Thin Stone Display" module only needs to appear when the full category blog page is shown. How do I make this happen? Webpage is

Hello,
In Joomla, if a page doesn't have a dedicated menu item, all the modules that appear on its parent menu item will appear on that page too. So, you need to create a menu item for each of these pages that are linked with Read More links and then make sure that your module is not published on these menu items.
