I am using Joomla 4.4.5 and PHP 8.1.22. The small, squre icon displayed by menu items that have sub-menu items (displays normally as a "+" sign), actually displays the letters "F078" with the 78 below the FO. Any thoughts on how to correct thhis would be appreciated. See the attached image.

Hello,

If the website is upgraded from Joomla 3 to Joomla 4, then you will need to re-install the template. Otherwise, please try clearing the browser's cache. Otherwise, please provide the link so we can inspect this.

Thankyou for your reply - it is appreciated.
This site was upgraded from Joomla 3 but the Joomla 4 version of the template was installed as part of the upgrade. I have not yet reloaded the template. If I do so, will the current settings be preserved?
Clearing browser (Firefox) cache made no difference. I also note that with Microsoft Edge the "+" icons do not display at all - in any form.
The site is at www.jadance.co.uk . and I would appreciate any comments.

Hello,

You will need to re-install the template in order to activate the new Font Awesome icon set that's compatible with Joomla 4. Your template settings will be preserved. However, you should keep all the files that you eventually edited and copy them back after the re-installation.

Make sure you have a full website backup. The template re-installation should be done on a backup copy first, for testing purposes, not on the production site directly.

Milos

I am sorry to keep coming back to this but I am not sure of the correct procedure for reloading the template. I have an up-to-date backup of the live site and have created a test site on which to work. How do I preserve the changes made to the template and where are the files I need to copy prior to reloading? Also, what is the basic procedure for reloading the template. Do I need to delete the old version first - template and style - or can I just reload on top of it? I have never had to do this before.

Hello,

You just need to download the file "hot_ballet5x.zip" from our website and install it from System > Install > Extensions.
