Social Icons are not displayed was created by info6
Hello and good evening,
I use Joomla 5.1 and the billiards theme. My problem is that the social media icons are not displayed, no matter what I do. I tried the following:
<a href=" www.facebook.com/hotthemes ">
It just doesn't work, as soon as I click on "Save" in the source code, the entire source code disappears. But it only does that if I use the "i class".
Does anyone have a tip for me? Thanks.
Regards, Markus

Hello,
If you are using the default Joomla editor, it can cut off some parts of the HTML code required for icons. So, either disable the editor in the global configuration before editing the modules or articles where the social media icons are placed or install a different editor, such as JCE.
Also, you can try configuring the default editor in System > Plugins > Editor - TinyMCE. Try adding the i element to the list of "Valid Elements".
