Not a "dissapointing" template but - fairly -good

Hi folks, the more I work with Hot Blogs and the Forum I intend to withdraw my first impression/verdict as "dissapointing" for the template.

It's not the Halleluja of flexibilty of what I expected for and know from other responsible "Blog" templates. But as soon as you know you have to make compromises between the template and your desired result, the theme is fairly acceptable up to quite good. Really depends, what you can and will do with it.

Nevertheless for one of the upcomming templates I hopefully expect a real "MAGAZIN-THEME". JOOMLA and WORDPRESS Google Search for "mag-themes" deliver a lot of good stuff, and I have no doubt the HOT TEAM in Belgrade is more than able to develop one.

Thank you for your opinions. When you say "magazine theme", could you describe what features it should have per your opinion. Are you using some specific component for development of such websites, of you think Joomla core have all features that you need for such websites?

Surely Jommla has the core and all the components, extensions, plugs etc. What I tried on www.epubjournal.de with your EVENTS template comes very near to a magazine-theme. But I need yet another "basic-template", as I have some more magazines to lift.

So, it's more the look and feel and the arrangement of parts that form a magazine-theme. I can send you some links from theme I mean. But I don't want to do that in the public. BTW the early SPORTS template comes quite near the magazine idea. But it's a litte "heavy" and not built on a grid? May be this could be modernized?

Thank you for your feedback and recommendations. We can't "modernize" old templates, but after reviewing all the links that you sent, we decided to create a News Portal template for February 2014. It will have all the features that usual news portals have and it would be responsive.
