Blocks not showing in some browsers

Hi,
Some people informed us that the blocks on the frontpage of the website do not appear in their browser.
Browser = IE11
I tested in IE 11, safari, firefox and chrome and all is perfect.

Do you know how this is possible?

Just updated to IE11, it works great site appears better that on IE10

I have a laptop with ie11, blocks are not showing on this computer. On ie7 there is also a problem with the pages (see attached file).
I believe the browser problems started after I altered the css file following your suggestions (see forum item: lay out problems with components).
Could you look into this ?
