Change size of pictures?

Hi,

I bought this template, but I am not using it for a bookstore, so I would like to change the size of the pictures. Is it possible? Do I need to do it manualy trough ftp?? Can you tell me what the name of the template that i should look in...

In VM admin, check configuration->configuration, templates tab, you have several properties regarding number of product in row. If set to 2 it will split with to half instead of third which is default.

Ok, but it is not about the number of items in a row. 3 is fine for me. It is the dimension of the product photo. I want a square photo not a rectangular one. Can you tell me in which file I can make this change? So I dont have to look through all of the files I know this template it for books, an thats why the product photos are rectangular.

go to vm admin, configuration->configuration->templates tab, you have:

Thumbnail Image Width
Thumbnail Image Height

change them

I'm doing this and nothing is changing. I even tried completely reinstalling joomla, virtuemart and the template to see if it was something I'd changed.

I still can't change the size of the images, nor can I change the number of items in a row etc. even though everything is basically out of the hotstart installation.

It seems as though the content is locked in how it looks...
