Contact Map random

Hi, first off: I LOVE THIS TEMPLATE! Really well done!

Second, the Google Maps plugin that shows a map when viewing a single contact doesn't seem to work. Well, it does work, but only on the contacts that don't have an address.

Here's a contact with an address:
upstatedistrict.org/index.php/contact/ch...13-arcade-crossroads

Here's a contact with the plugin in the Misc. field:
upstatedistrict.org/index.php/contact/ch...y/12-amherst-sonrise

Here's a contact without and address:
upstatedistrict.org/index.php/contact/un...ant-to-join-our-team

As you can see, the only contact that gets a map is the one that doesn't have an address. And for the life of me I can't get rid of it!

I figured out that the map that is showing up was actually a module leftover from the demo content. I unpublished it and fixed that.

However, the map still isn't showing up in the other contacts.

If I understand you, you need to show different maps for different contacts? The address of the Hot Maps module is not related to the address you have in your contact form. To edit address in Hot Maps module, please go to Extensions > Module Manager > Hot Maps. The module is in position "belowcontent". There you can enter different address for "Location or Address" parameter.

If you have multiple contact pages with different addresses, then make more instances of Hot Maps module (copy) and then publish the copied instances on appropriate contact pages by selecting the page's menu item in module parameters.

Yes, I finally (after an embarrassingly long time) realized that I was looking at a module, not part of the contact.

Do you have any idea why the map plugin won't work in the Misc. field of the contact?

Unfortunately, you can't put plugins into the MISC. field of the contact form.
