Formatting Issues was created by jmortimer
Hi, just recently installed Cinema along with the test data and then added the same forum used here, Kunena. However, rather than getting the fancy saved messages and whatnot mine are appearing as text. For example when someone creates a new topic this is what they see:

You have been subscribed to this topic.

Your message has been successfully posted.

Rather than a nicely formatting box with the information.

Also, within the site when I attempt to EDIT (for example) the About page. The Save and Cancel buttons look very generic and stacked on top of each other. Below that next to bullets it shows: Content, Publishing, Language, Metadata. They appear to be links but do nothing when clicked.

I'm assuming much of this is CSS based and wonder why this would occur after installing Cinema? Anyone know where I can change any of these items to make them appear more in-line with the template?

THANK YOU IN ADVANCE!!

Actually, no that's not correct. There are other formatting issues that are in the template itself and has nothing to do with the forums. In fact and in addition to what I already posted, when I add an article I get the same "saved" message that appears in the forum.

Article successfully saved.

I do appreciate the feedback but clearly this is unrelated to Kunena.

Sure, here you go: testing.mortimer-family.com/index.php/features/about-template

I literally re-installed it for testing to verify nothing I did caused this. This is a fresh install. I included the link to the about page because you can see many of the formatting issues i referenced earlier:
  • Click edit, Save and Cancel buttons are stacked on top of each other,
  • The words, Content, Publishing, Language and Metadata then appear as URLs in bullet list (however when you click them, nothing happens),
  • Title and body fields are on top of each other,
  • When you hover over the items, text appears in the FAR left column, for example hover over the title "Category" and the word "Category" appears in the far left column. Only difference it is BOLD.
  • Hover over "Keywords" and "Keywords" in bold followed by "Keywords describing the content" appears below it. All of this appears in the far left column where no data should be.
  • Click save and "x Message Article successfully saved" appears very plain text.
  • Shall I continue?

In any event I will try to PM you the username and password you can use.

All available property items are listed so Content, Publishing, Language, Metadata have no use. Front Edit mode is ugly but functional and it not a bug.

Only tag field is small so you can place this in template_css.css:

.search-field INPUT{
min-width:160px;
}
