The errors will only show, once you click any link on the website. After that it freezes.
There were no error messages during the update. I now uploaded the hot_clinic5x.zip file but it doesn't seem to have any effect. Template is still dated April 2022.

I had updated my database from 5.7 to MariaDB 10 before the update but afaik remember 4x ran fine with that database.

What else can I do?

Ok, but where can I see the website upgraded to Joomla 5? The link you provided previously doesn't work.

I suppose you have to believe me, my backend shows v5.2.3 for the site. Can you you recreate the error by going to the website and clicking any link (e.g. "Aktuelles" in the navigation)?

When I go to this website and click the link you mentioned, it opens the page https://xn--zahnarztpraxis-knigstein-0oc.de/aktuelles normally.

Yes but can you then click any link? For me it just freezes and shows errors in the console.

Yes, there are Javascript errors. Now you should re-install the template and save the template settings once after the installation. Use the template file "hot_clinic5x.zip". You should download it from our website first.
