Person Contact in Conact Manager?

Is there a way to have a separate field in Contacts Manager to have the 'Contact Person' name and display on the Contact List and the Contact page? Right now, I am just plugging contact person names into the 'First Sort Field' to store them. Yes, this customer has a complex distribution and worldwide contact list based on product categories.

In every contact in side bar you have contact person name and other fields, maybe I don't understand???
