Install issue was created by hkeyzer
I'm trying to install the template (joomla V 3.4) only (non hotstart) and get the following error:
_______________________
Warning

JInstaller: :Install: File does not exist /var/www/vhosts/joomla-support.co.nz/httpdocs/tmp/install_55889e176990a/hot_corporate/export/

Template Install: Could not copy files from the files source.

I have installed the template fine when I use the hotstart - but in this case I am upgrading a site so can not use the hotstart.

Also the zip file contains a copy of the "hot_cosmetics.zip"

Hello,

this is happening because some tmp folder is created (install_55889e176990a). Try first to copy template files into tmp and hit install from directory.

Also, make sure that in templateDetails.xml there is not declaration of folder which is empty.

Hi,

Thanks for assist - resolved issue by manual install of template.

There is an "export" folder declared in the templatedetails.xml file which is empty. Should it be there?

Thanks

Hello,

point is that it shouldn't have empty folders, so there is some "trick" that you can use.
Make empty html page, call it index.html and put it in that folder.

Content can be something like this

<html><div></div></html>

Regards

This can be resolved 1 or 2 ways:

Manual install of template.

or
Modify template archive folder to include an "export" folder which includes blank index.html
Then use Joomla extension installed to install modified template archive.
