Hello,
First of all, make a full website backup.
Then you can proceed with the upgrade. If you are happy with the results and the site is working fine, you are done.
If you notice some problems, you should re-install the template after the Joomla upgrade using the standard template installation method (install the file hot_coworking5x.zip). After that, go to the template settings and save it once (you don't need to change anything).
If anything goes wrong, you will have to restore the website from backup. In this case, please keep in mind that some 3rd party extensions that you have installed can break the upgrade process or make it impossible.
Regards,
Milos

I have a J4 site built upon CoWorker with quickstart:
nj4x.lincolncountyed.org/index.php
After tons of backups and pre-5 tests, all green, I ran the j5 update.
Site looks great !
When I go to edit an article, the edit icons are not showing.
In Brave browser, they are ansi boxes that almost look all alike.
In Firefox, I can see some endcoding in these little boxes. screen shot attached is from FF
Here is what I have done so far:
DLoaded fresh vers of
hot_coworking5x.zip
installed OK no errs
plg_sparky5x.zip
Install success, but with err msg:
Warning
JInstaller: :Install: File does not exist [ROOT][TMP]/install_675276ed6818f/sparkyeditor/en-GB/en-GB.plg_content_sparkyeditor.ini
plg_sparkyeditor5x.zip
install successful but with err msg:
Warning
JInstaller: :Install: File does not exist [ROOT][TMP]/install_6752771d8f66c/sparky/css
JInstaller: :Install: File does not exist [ROOT][TMP]/install_6752771d8f66c/sparky/en-GB/en-GB.plg_editors_sparky.ini
got more backups too.
SO, please see attached jpg for how it looks.
My sparky editor icons are missing !
Ideas ?
Thnx,
Kent

Hello,
Perhaps you have problems with the Sparky Page Builder. Please download the package for Joomla 5 from here www.hotjoomlatemplates.com/page-builder and try to install it.
You should not have error messages during the installation, otherwise the extension is not installed properly. The reason for the error message you see could be wrong folder permissions or an improperly set TMP folder on your hosting. Go to System > System Information > Folder Permissions and make sure that all folders are marked as Writable.
Regards,
Milos
