change width of elements in a row

Another question...
As you can see below: the menu that I put as a module an position left hasn't enough place: text comes into the content.
How can I make position 'left' wider?
So left+ content are together the total width
Same with logo en menu above

it was due to problems with the mouse... so touchpad
