Language change vm error

Hi there! After i changed the site language i got the virtuemart error at the frontend - no categories or items would display as it looks like localization have messed up the table names. Whould there be an easy way to get it all right apart from renaming the tables manually?

solved by copying vm tables that end with ...en_gb to ...ru_ru with phpmyadmin

Now having difficulties with changing shop name within vendor tab of vm shop configuration. Strangely i am able to change it using latin but not cyrillic. The latter would cause the error message come up :S

vmError: VmTableData Sef Alias in record is missing ! Can't save the record with no Sef Alias.

can you change it directly in database, also that happens when you enter Russian letters, right? If it happens even with alphabet then something is wrong in database.

yes i have changed it directly in database. no more alphabet issues so far.
