Since i bought the HOT DRUG Template I try to make it work in three languages (fr, es, pt) without success. I am working with WAMP before put it into production. In the last attempt i followed this steps:
- Performed Hot installation with demo content
- Installed and published pt-PT, fr-FR, es-ES languages packages
- Created CONTENT language code for each language pack
- Enabled System Language-Code plug in
- Enabled System Language- Filter
- Installed and published SWITCH Language module
- Created PT Top Menu
- Copied items from the TOP MENU to PT TOP MENU
- Translated menu TITLE and erased ALIAS for each menu iten
- Set Portuguese as the language for menu itens
- Created copy of all ARTICLES
- Set portuguese language for each article
- Translated to portuguese TITLE and CONTENT articles
- Erase original title articles alias
- Assigned each article for your respective menu item in Required Settings » Select Article *
Results:
- The navigation works fine
- The only things translated are just the fields tags
- The menus itens still remaining pointing to english contents.
- Languages aren't available in VirtueMart
Need
- Front end and Shop Cart fully translated into the chosen language, including menus.
Questions
- If i click in Styles Menu and choose another style the switch languages flags disappear. What's wrong?
- I would like to allow the customer to choose the style for the store. Is it possible?
- I tried to use Recaptcha but the field not appear in the form. Why?
Comments
As I have made many attempts including other languages, this time I decided to just do the Portuguese although other languages are already installed

you need to provide content in other languages, for example if you go to module settings you will see that you can select language for it. Language adds /XX to url that why you lose your language icons when you changed style.
