Footer color is covering almost the whole page

Hi, I have been solving my issues one by one thanks the the forums floating around. If you have a look here:

You will notice the footer is bleeding out and covering the page. Can you please help me to contain it?

Try this , add:

.main_area{
min-height:600px;
}

to template_css.css

That corrected the issue some what, however I know know where the fault is. Its in the html/com_virtumart/category/default file. I modified it for the add to cart function. I seem to have let out a leak. Any idea where?

EDIT: after restoring the original template file, it hasn't fixed the issue. The original VM file does however work correctly with the add-to-cart function. However the products display very badly..... I am trying to create a hybrid file from the original VM file. But what aspects of the template file need to be put in for the products?

I did it!!! I used your product layout on the original VM file and it solved the problem
