Did you install virtuemart AIO, you should have menu item type for virtue-mart registration. Also you should never use joomla registration if you have VM.
caption of log in menu item , create login form menu item only visible for loged users and name it log out

thanks for reply, indeed i am missing the menu item type for virtue-mart registration
i only see these under virtuemart menu type
Shopping Cart
VirtueMart Categories Layout
Category Layout
Manufacturer
Default Layout
Manufacturer Details Layout
List Orders
Product Details Layout
Account Maintenance
User Edit Address
Displays vendor contact
Displays vendors
Displays vendor details
View vendor
TOS Front page
I install joomla and VM from your Hotstart files

Hi, i have selected Account Maintenance as the menu type, all is good. but when i get to the account maintenance page, i am not able to navigate to other pages when i click on the category module on the left. it still stays at the account maintenance page.
I notice when i click on Account Maintenance, my url is xxx.com/index.php/register (works fine)
but from Account Maintenance page i click on a category link (which is a VirtueMart Category module)
my url becomes xxx.com/index.php/register/hair-care , it should be xxx.com/index.php/hair-care
It doesn't remove the "register" which result it to stay at Account Maintenance page
When i click on other menu links (not within the VirtueMart Category module) works fine.
Can you help on this?
Thanks
