Custom fields "Text input" size change?

On a site we are using custom fields for Text Inputs. How do we change the length and height of these fields?

Using Joomla 2.5.27 VM: 2.6.12

I want to lengthen the input fields for "To:" and "From:" and "Message on card:"

and also show more lines for "Message on card:"
