Removing Hot Carousel from K2 Articles w READ MORE

When you go to READ MORE on any front page K2 article, the Hot Carousel slides are persistent. I only have the Hot Carousel module enabled for the Home Page, where the first three articles appear.
I would like to make sure when the viewer goes to READ MORE, the articles come up without the Hot Carousel. Is there a setting inside K2 I have missed? I checked over the Categories, and individual Articles but cannot determine how to avoid the Carousel appearing on every article in the Header1 position.

Joomla module assignment concept have that problem is that you can not control it 100%. You need to have menu item for each page where you want control it fully or it will take settings form parent page or home page most usually.

There is extension that enables you to define module assignment per URL part. I think you need that.

So if I create a nonlinked menu with menu items that point to individual articles for those K2 items.
I can then force the redirect of each READ MORE to go to those new menu URLs, as if the article if normally refreshing on the page. The viewer wont know the difference. Correct?

e.g.
ArticleMenu
- Article 1
- Article 2

Where Article 1 is the full article of the smaller K2 article in the first Featured position on the home page.
