Fitness Template HIDE ARTICLE INFO was created by kent8
I have turned off ALL the switches that I can find in the Articles Options dialogs.
Please tell me how to TURN OFF the ARTICLE INFO EVERYWHERE.
I do not want the author name and the article creation date to display, at all, on any articles.
Thanks,
Kent

Hello,
In Joomla, there are 3 places where you can turn this on and off: Articles component options, the options of a particular category or article, and menu item option. The last one has the highest priority.
Regards,
Milos

Milos,
Thanks for this reply.
Here's is what I have so far:
1. Menu Options Tab:
Author : HIDE
Create Date : HIDE
Modify Date : HIDE
Publish Date: HIDE
2. Articles Global Options: List Layouts Tab
Date : HIDE
Author: HIDE
3 Specific Article (Football article # 104) Options Tab
Author: HIDE
Dates : HIDE
HOWEVER, when you go to the front page:
recreation.townoflimon.com/index.php
and then click on the Football (in the Newsflash module titled SIgn Up Now)
and it goes to the article, you can see the author and date are shown at the bottom left of the main content area.
I need to get rid of it.
Any ideas ?
Thanks,
Kent

Hello,
You probably missed the menu item that controls your home page. This menu item is marked with a star.
You can also hide it in CSS by adding this code to the custom CSS file:
