I am not sure if there's something wrong in your Joomla settings or in template. When you switch to default Joomla template, does your menus work like that?
Thankyou - that has sorted it. I found some issues in the way I had set up the Sparky framework menu settings for the "other pages" version of the template. Fixing that now gets the multilingual top menu working on all pages.
