But if I restore the SQL database as it was just before the changes, everything will be back just as normal. It's like when you are changing font settings under the designer style tab, it screws up something in the database data related to the template.
Any ideas?

Ok. Here is what I found.
Let's start from a working site with your template installed. Everything works just fine. Then I go to the Designer Style tab in the Template Manager and change the font settings. Like color or size or both. That seems to mix something up somewhere since the right side menus are not working properly afterward.
I found that if, after this mess, I restore the content of my SQL database related to my website, just the database itself, then the whole site comes back to normal, like it was before the changes. Unfortunately, without the changes, of course!
So I guessed that changing the font size or color writes something wrong in the SQL database. So I went to compare a working site with a non-working site and found the problem! I just did!! But I don't know what causes it. Let me explain.
It looks like a font setting change triggers an update in the table template_styles in the SQL database related to the website. But instead of overwriting the in the field content, it looks like it adds it to it. Thus, the template_style field contains now too much info that seems to confuse Joomla.
Do you understand?

As you can see as of now, the site is working properly now. But back to what it was before changes. Go try it yourself! Change the font size or color, save and then go in second option of first menu and look at the right side menus! You'll see what I mean!
This seems to be causes by this inappopriate writing in the sql table named template_styles.
Let me know if you can fix it.

Could you please try it yourself?
First, visit the site, gd.sergebeauchemin.com. Go on the first menu, second item and confirm everyhting seems to be working just fine.
Now log in the site, go to the template manager section, designer style, change the font size and or color of the paragaph font settings and check the site again! Go in the first menu again, second item and look what happened to the menus!!!
Now tell me, how this could happen?
