Increase space at the top

How can i make the top row above menu area larger (height)?
Also, on my phone and tablet, the top row becomes distorted and moves into the logo area. The information is not much and I made the top3 position right justified, but the information keeps going behind the logo. I even tried putting a spacer into the the top2 position. Any help would be appreciated.

ok. i just sent privately.
the reason i'm trying to add space at the top is so i can put in the acymailing subscribe.. but only the fields will fit in that space, not the "click here to subscribe" title above it.

Also, how can i adjust the responsive mobile version. its not viewing properly on my phones that i'm testing it on. the rotator stays in the background and keeps scrolling.

How can I send images privately? Also, I noticed that I added top positions 2-5 (top2, top3, top4, top5) and the positions don't work on mobile or tablet.
