I seem to be having this issue as well. It appears that there are additional <li></li> in there. I am using the plumber website and the hack mentioned to amend the JavaScript doesn't work because it's dynamically generated.

Try these 2 things:

1. Temporary unlock the site and check if the error exists when you are logged off. Also try different browser.
2. Re-download and re-install Hot Full Carousel module from our site, because maybe you have an outdated version.
