Different image for mobile view was created by paul1
Need a way to show a different image in mobile view compared to laptop. Am trying to fill laptop screen with a landscape image but when viewed on mobile phone, it shows a different portrait image.
I see this is possible in this extension (thanks) but I need only a single image not the three.
1. Is it possible to show just one (presume not)
2. Is it possible to show the different images based on screen size in any other extension?
My thanks

Hello,
You have to use two different images. They should be named properly, as explained here www.hotjoomlatemplates.com/joomla-extens...el-hot-full-carousel under the "Different Images for Mobiles" and "Samples" sections.
Regards,
Milos

Many thanks for very prompt response to question - much appreciated.
I had read the quide your refer to before but was unsure if there were was a similar option in another of your extensions as I want a single image, not three. Such as HS Carousel.
I suppose it would be perhaps be better to just add an image to the page and find some CSS to do the job. Perhaps hiding an image when screen size is too small/large.
My thanks again

Hello,
If you have an image that looks good in landscape mode (horizontally), and you want to make it look good in portrait mode (vertically), the only thing you can do is crop the left and right sides. But what if the important elements of the image are in the cropped area?
So, what you are asking is simply impossible.
Other extensions don't support the display of different images per screen width.
Regards,
Milos

Many thanks again for assistance.
Think I didn't make myself clear (sorry) - just want a landscape image for desktop and a different portrait image mobiles.
Will have a go at some CSS as I am sure it is possible - I have seen it on another site and I think Wordpress/Divi offers it.
