Settings Main menu aren't applied anymore

After changing the name of the menu in the managment, the settings of the menu were gone. I applied the settings for the menu again in the template style, but these were not applied to the menu on the homepage  anymore. I suppose I have to link the mainmenu-element in the layout to the menu but do not know how.
Do you have the sulotion for this problem?
The url of the homepage is  www.seniorenbeuningen.nl/versie4/

Hello,

You should go to the template options and under the Menus tab select your menu and select the Drop-Down menu type for this menu. Then save the template parameters.

If it doesn't work, please send your Joomla super user access so we can check this.

You can post this on the forum privately if you select a part of the text and click the "lock" (confidential) icon.

Hello,

In the folder /templates/hvac/mod_menu you had files that should not be there. I deleted them and the menu is working now.

Only the folder /templates/sparky_framework/mod_menu should contain files. It's like that in the template package you downloaded from us.

I don't know how the menu files ended up in /templates/hvac/mod_menu. Perhaps you uploaded them there. Please do not do anything with the template files until you are 100% sure of what you are doing.

I also don't know how those files ended up in that directory. I'm shure I didn't upload them.
And I will be more carefull in the future.
