Images In Virtumart was created by sales08
Hi, When I add a new product image in Virtuemart the pop up box to select the image doesn't load correctly so all the images are hidden. Any ideas?
I'm using Php 8.1 but have tried 7.4

Update: Have been trying to sort out the issue as mentioned above even tried to install the J3 version but that won't install past the database set up. It look as though the template maybe interfering with the css on virtuemart back end as the page expands way past the screen and buttons are all over the place.

Hello,
First of all, the J3 and J4 versions of the Jewelry template are totally different. Please do not try to install them both on the same Joomla installation. It will produce a lot of errors. If you're going to use Joomla 3, install the HotStart of the J3 version only (it includes VirtueMart v3). If you're going to use Joomla 4, install the HotStart of the J4 version only (it includes VirtueMart v4).
Regarding the products' images uploading, it's not related to the template. It's a feature of the VirtueMart component.
When you edit the product, under Product Images > Upload File Image Action, select the option Upload. Then click the "Choose File" button and select an image from your computer. Then click Save to save the product and the image will be uploaded.
If you can't upload the image, you should check the directory permissions of your Joomla installation.
Regards,
Milos

One more thing, there's a new VMAdmin template available for Joomla 4 now and it fixes the issues in the backend of the VirtueMart template. If you are using Joomla 4, please install it. You can download the VirtueMart package for Joomla 4 (VM4) from here. Then, extract the archive "com_virtuemart.4.0.0.10645_package_or_extract.zip" and locate the file "vmadmin.zip". Install this file from System > Install > Extensions.
Then enable the template in the VirtueMart configuration on the first tab, section "Advanced". If it's already selected, deselect it, and save. Then open the configuration again and select it again and save.

Milos
