canonical link was created by andre6
I use RSSEO for SEO but when I put a canonical link in there I get 2 canonical links in the HTML.
How can I turn off the "original" canonical link? this is made by the template i guess!
I would like to use this so that I can have other domains appear on a landing page.
can you help me?

Hello,
The canonical link is not added by the template. It’s probably added by Joomla core, so you don’t need the additional extension for that.
Regards,
Milos

Hello,
I can confirm that none of our templates include the canonical link hardcoded into the template's <head> element. However, it is added by Joomla core. If you change the template to Cassiopeia (default Joomla template) and look at the source code, you will also see the canonical link

I have looked and made a new clean install but then I do not find this link at casiopea.
It must come from another component, module or plugin.
I also made a nieuw clean setup whit the Hot_Jewelry_hotstart.
This is all

Hello,
Yes, perhaps the canonical tag is added by VirtueMart. Whatever template you select, if the VirtueMart is installed, the canonical tag will be added.
Regards,
Milos
