In order to change the alias for the menus I folowed this solution:

Change the menu type from External Link to Menu Alias.

Set the alias name to what you want the path to read.

Save the menu (do not close the menu because you're not done)

Change the menu type back to External Link.

Enter your External Link.

Save and Close the menu.

The problem now is that by changing the link back to javascript:; I get a warning "Save not permitted"

Joomla version is 3.2.0 and tadmin (right ones) are in their place ;)

Are you working as superuser? Did you maybe messed something with permissions. You can also type some other temporary menu item type like single article , any that allows you to enter alias.

Of course I have the right permisions....

Saving is not permitted only when i edit the menu item > select menu item type External URL > and put in Link javascript:;

If for example I put in Link javascript then saving is permitted.

Do you have any idea?

Thank you in advance!!!

I just found this:

joomlacode.org/gf/project/joomla/tracker...racker_item_id=32572

So I put the #_ in Link (and not javascript:;) and could save the change.

If you only now have any idea on how to remove the #_ from the on line site,
when somebody press this menu item...?
