Change the little bird in the PSD file

I would like to understand the function of the moving birds and balloons on the front page. I bought the psd file but would like to have a kolibri instead of the little yellow bird. And I need to change some colours to fit my site's colours. Is there a manual, FAQ about the moving items and how to create that ?
