hi, I installed into a subfolder (existing home page in root folder), how can I run the software?
I already changed the htaccess.txt into .htaccess

The yip you got form us contains zip files you use. There is install-able packages and the biggest one ending like ...hot_start.zip is whole joomla with demo data like on our demo server. If you go with host start joomla installation you need to install sample data during installation.
