Site very broken

Hi there. I am trying to work out what has happened to my client's website which is using the Multiplex Gadget template. I can get into the admin panel, but cannot see the live version at all. All I get is a 404 error. I've provided login details below if you can take a look? I don't even know where to start, except that the template was working, there was an update and then it completely broke.

Hello,

The default menu item in your Joomla is probably broken or component that menu item used is uninstalled. This is the menu item marked with a star. Check this first.

- Select different menu item to be default menu item.
- Delete current home menu item.
- Create it again
- Select it again as default menu item.
