Can't save changes to template after updating site

Hi,

I have a Music Band template on a site that was in Joomla 3.2 while setting up locally. I then moved the site to a live server, updated to Joomla 3.3 and now I can't save template changes. All other parts of the admin work.

I have deleted cache & browser cache, tried in Chrome, Safari, Firefox, on Mac and Windows (7), checked all permissions which are OK.

Is it just that the template Music Band isn't yet compatible with 3.3?

I have a local backup in 3.2 which I can update and transfer live, but I just wondered if I was missing something obvious or if I can update the template without losing my changes? Would make life a bit easier.

I have a subscription for Joomla templates until September.

Download fresh template. Then you can overwrite template files but skip files you changed, we basically updated backed related files so you can not problem skip files you customized like css files
