How to position the hot swipe carousel below the menu and centre the text

I've tried that and it is indeed being overridden. Developer Tool is great but I can't always see where a bit of css is coming from, however I have resolved my issue by using rem instead of pixels as font size.

The Developer Tool's purpose is exactly to show you where any bit of CSS is coming from. So, I recommend you to spend some time learning it better because it will speed up your work and make it easier.
