Migrating extensions to Joomla 4

Hi,

My client's website is on Joomla 3 and uses the Nail Salon template. It is at  adorablekateringcanapes.com.au/ , with a staging environment for the Joomla 4 migration set up at  adorablekateringcanapes.com.au/j4/ .

This website uses Hot Swipe Carousel and Hot Effects Rotator. Should I install Joomla 4 versions of these extensions? If so, Do I install the Joomla 4 versions after migrating the website and installing the Joomla 4 template?

Thanks,
Julia.

PS If there is a special forum category where I should be posting Joomla 4 migration questions, please let me know.

Hello,

You can migrate the website to Joomla 4 first and then install the Hot Swipe Carousel and Hot Effects Rotator. But, I don't think installing them prior to the migration will make any difference. Just make sure you download the extensions from our website before installation. The last version of these extensions can work on both Joomla 3 and 4 (the files are the same).

There's no forum category about migrations. So, you can post in the appropriate template category, as you did now.

Regards,
Milos
