Sparky_framework version and Joomla 5

Hi

I am thinking to update Joomla to Joomla 5.

Now, my site runs with version 4.1.2 of Sparky framework

Which step should I follow ?

1) update 4.1.2 to 4.2 then to 5.1 of Sparky framework before updating Joomla 5
2) update 4.1.2 directly to 5.1 of Sparky framework before updating Joomla 5
3) first updating Joomla 5 and then updating  5.1 from 4.1.2 of Sparky framework

First of all, make a full website backup.

Then you can proceed with the upgrade. If you are happy with the results and the site is working fine, you are done.

If you notice some problems, you should re-install the template after the Joomla upgrade using the standard template installation method (install the file hot_nailsalon5x.zip). After that, go to the template settings and save it once (you don't need to change anything).

If anything goes wrong, you will have to restore the website from backup. In this case, please keep in mind that some 3rd party extensions that you have installed can break the upgrade process or make it impossible.

The first protocol worked well and the site runs on Joomla 5 without issue.
Meanwhile, the version of the template remains 4.1.2 and was not automatically updated to 4.2. I have waited for a week (and did clear cash,) but no updating notification appears on Extensions updating menu. Should I manually update it?

Hello,

Our templates are not updating through Joomla update system. If you want to install the latest template version, please manually install the file hot_nailsalon5x.zip

Please make a full website backup before doing this.
