Missing Graphics from News Portal

History: I installed the News Portal without the demo data as I was installing it on an existing website. I also installed the hot start News Portal site in a separate directory for comparison.

Issue 1 - The little 9:00 clock symbol used for "Created" is missing from the articles.

Issue 2 - The Print icons are missing. The graphic is replaced by "8". If you click on it the "Print" and "Email" pop up is displayed. Both "Print" and "Email" work, but the graphics on that pop-up are missing, too.

Make sure all menu item and article settings are same (all - in all tabs)

What do you mean by this?

What "menu item and article settings"?

How are you accessing the "menu item" settings?

How are you accessing the "article settings"? Are you talking about the tabs on the article edit screen (Content, Publishing, Images and Links, Configuration Edit Screen, and Permissions)?

Please be more specific.

I have also noted that created dates are displaying on screens where they are intentionally set to "Hide" inside the article. Article Edit Screen > Options tab > "Show Create Date", "Show Modify Date" and "Show Publish Date" are all set to "Hide" yet "Created" value still shows.

In administration in menu manager, you enter Top Menu , then you click on item to open its settings. That options are in tabs. Same stands for articles. Just also check general articles options in articles manager "Options" button .

In "Top Menu 2" if you click all individual menu items have always been "Use Global".

In "Article Manager Options" the "Show Print Icons" and "Show Email Icons" are both set to "Show".

This worked correctly in the template we were using. It only stopped working with the installation of the New Portal.

I also installed the Hot Start demo in a different directory. If I go into the "Article Manager Options" anc change "Show Print Icons" and "Show Email Icons" from "Hide" to "Show" the same issue appears there.
