Hot Carousel Module Properies not working was created by hibernitel

I have set the Hot Carousel Module (on the News Portal Joomla template) to 'fade' and 'slow' but it appears to have no effect whatsoever so I am assuming this is not working, Can you advise on this.

Turn off jquery in module settings, if it does not help send link
