Problem activating friendly URLs Joomla 4.1.5

Hello.
I am working with the News Portal template and Joomla 4.1.5, I have tried several times to activate the friendly URLs, I have changed the htaccess.txt file to .htaccess and then activate the option, when saving, the administrator is unconfigured (it goes to display all just text and on the left, a large menu in tree format) and the front end stops working.
Although I try to return to the previous state, it was impossible for me to achieve it, I have to delete everything, including the db, and start from scratch with the installation.
I have already tried several ways, and the result is always the same.
What I need is to make the web totally friendly and remove the index.php that appears in all web addresses, example: somosavalon.com/index.php/avalon
The main domain is somosavalon.com
PHP version 8.1.2

It is worth mentioning that in all the templates installed so far (Joomla 3.x), I have never had this problem.

Thank you very much for your help.

Hello,

You must consult your web hosting provider. If your website doesn't work properly after you renamed htaccess.txt to .htaccess, there are probably some server settings that are not compatible with Joomla. If a server is 100% compatible with Joomla, then it must work properly after renaming htaccess.txt to .htaccess and this is necessary in order to activate SEF URLs.

Hi Milos,

All the pages that I have hosted on the server are with your templates, all friendly URLs are activated and without any problem.
Only this template is causing problems, hence the query.
It is the only one I have installed in Joomla 4.x

Cheers,
Martin.

Anyway, this is the server issue. Template can’t make any issues with SEF urls. Try installing the plain Joomla 4 on the server and activate the SEF urls.
