Hi,

I'm new here, aswell as with setting up and creating a website so please bear with me :) I'm quite amazed I got through the installationprocess as far as I did, but as the Joomla installation proceeded I'm guessing I didn't install the correct sample data for the For All Seasons template. After installing it says in the installation PDF I should be able to see the exact same copy of the template on my server. It doesn't though. Anyone able to enlighten me what to do?
Thanks!

If that is j3.0 then in installation process there is option to select one of 5 sample data sets . You should select Default English Sample Data

Hi, thanks for your quick reply! In the meantime I felt my hands itching to retry so I reinstalled the whole shebang with Hotstart again. After having done this the template shows up nicely, but now I can't access the administrator back-end loginpage at all. I'll keep trying stuff, so if someone has any suggestions feel free to leave a reply. I am however contemplating to just install without using Hotstart figuring things out within Joomla, unless someone would strongly advise against this as I am still starting out.

Unfortunately I couldn't find such a file, at least not in the administrator folder. Messing about with the .htaccess file I did find booked no results either. I've tried various options and also reinstalling always came up with some problem. I'm sure it's me, but nevertheless I finally decided to use the basic template installation which seems to work fine. Maybe a little more elbow grease is required to set up my site then but at least I'm already further along the line in the whole process than I ever got with the HotStart installation. But thanks for your help though, nice to have someone put some thought into what the problem might be!
