Items on Homepage doesn't "slide" down

After i changed the menu items on the homepage it doesn't "slide" down to the articles like in the demo. How can I fix this?

If you menu items point for example to #something1 you need to have

<a id="something1" > ...</a>

in content to mark target position.

That's just what we did.

We mean that when you click on one of the menu items then the page just "switches" to that section without "sliding" down. If you take a look at the site you'll see what I mean.
