google analytics 4 was created by hkeyzer
Hi,
Most of the Hotthemes templates have a parameter field for google analytics which I have used on all sites for google analytics3.
Will this still work for the newer google analytics 4 - so I can just update this field with a new google analytics 4 code?
Thanks
Henk

Hello,
We removed Google Analytics support from our templates because it becomes too complex for integration and there are now a couple of different ways to integrate with Google Analytics. There are also multiple versions of Google Analytics available. So, we can't know which way or version a template user will prefer.
So, you should copy the code snipped from your Google Analytics dashboard and paste it into the template options, under Custom > Head (Code for website header area). Also, there you can paste any other code from other services that should be in the <head> area of your site.
Regards,
Milos
