Article - Newsflash Module used on template

Hello. I really like this template styling for the politics theme in your module position header1 as it uses the 'Articles - Newsflash' module type.

I noticed that this module shows on every page, even if I select to show only on the homepage. How can I adjust this module to only show on the homepage?

I tried to set up a new template with Sparky PRO to see if I can get my desired results. I still can not seem to get the joomla 'Articles - Newsflash' module type to only display on the homepage. I would like it if I click on the read more button that i see only the article I selected.

My goal is to have a 6 column x 2 row (responsive)grid showing only the images, article title and a read more button that takes me to the article. I would like to have flexibility if I need more or less columns or rows.

Any suggestions?

How you mean that , are you saying that module assignment does not work? Select for assignment type to be for only pages selected

Hello Ivan. Yes, I have already selected to show only on pages selected (only home page) and it still shows on other pages.

Am I doing something wrong?
